1. General
- Gift cards are issued by MAAP and are valid for purchases made on the MAAP UK online store only, maap.cc/uk
- Gift Cards are not available for the MAAP LaB London store.
- By redeeming a gift card, the recipient agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Validity
- Gift cards are valid for 36 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
- Expired cards cannot be redeemed or extended.
3. Redemption
- Gift cards can be redeemed at checkout by entering the unique card code in the designated field.
- Cards are redeemable against full-price and sale items unless otherwise stated.
- Multiple cards may not be combined in a single transaction unless explicitly permitted.
- Cards cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional codes or discounts unless stated otherwise.
4. Value & Payment
- If the order value exceeds the card amount, the remaining balance must be paid using an accepted payment method.
- If the order value is less than the card amount, the remaining balance will be retained on the card for future use.
- Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or refund.
- Gift cards are not reloadable.
5. Currency
- Gift cards are denominated in GBP and are only valid for transactions processed in GBP.
6. Non-Transferability
- Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be sold, bartered, or transferred for value.
7. Returns & Refunds
- If an order paid with a gift card is returned, the refund will be issued as store credit or back to the original gift card, in accordance with MAAP's standard returns policy.
- Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
- The original purchase price of the gift card is non-refundable, except where required by law.
8. Lost or Stolen Cards
- MAAP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of gift cards. Treat your card code like cash.
- Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
9. Fraud Prevention
- MAAP reserves the right to cancel or void any gift card suspected of being obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms.
10. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
11. Changes to Terms
- MAAP reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The terms applicable at the time of card issuance will govern its use.
